Frequently Asked Questions

Common questions, answered.

About Newcastle City Business Centre and how we work. The Suites, Virtual Offices and Meeting Rooms pages each have their own questions too.

Are the suites private?

Yes. Newcastle City Business Centre offers private serviced suites and consulting rooms. Each tenant has their own private space, and there is no shared desking.

What are your hours?

Reception is staffed Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm. Suite tenants have their own building access outside these hours.

How quickly will I hear back from an enquiry?

Within one business day.

How old is the building?

It was built in 1920 as a bank, and is now home to private consulting and legal practices across five floors.

Do you offer administrative support?

Yes — from call answering and mail handling through to dedicated one-on-one business support, depending on what you need. See the Suites page for details, or get in touch to discuss.

Can I get a professional address without a suite?

Yes — our virtual office plans give you a heritage CBD address, with mail handling and phone answering available as you grow.

I am visiting for a meeting — can I print or scan something?

Yes, no account needed. Ask at reception, or see Extras.

How do I book a meeting room?

Online, on the Meeting Rooms page — the calendar shows live availability for every room and you can book it yourself. For weekend, after-hours or mediation bookings, call 02 4910 4000.

How do I pay?

By card or direct debit, depending on the service. We confirm the details when you sign up.

Is the building accessible?

Yes — lift access, wheelchair access, and accessible toilets.

Where do I park?

Bolton Street Car Park is approximately 100 metres from the building.
