Commercial Cleaner

Casual role based in Newcastle NSW 2300. Approx. 18 hours per week.

Pay: Paid under the Miscellaneous Award 2020 from $30.35 to $35.21 per hour, depending on shift time.

Start date: Monday 6 April

Location: Newcastle CBD

About the role

We are seeking a reliable Commercial Cleaner to help maintain a clean, professional and well-presented environment across our building. This role suits someone who takes pride in detail, works consistently and can be flexible when needed.

Key responsibilities

  • Clean private offices, common areas, bathrooms, kitchen and shared spaces to a consistent standard.
  • Vacuum floors, wipe surfaces, empty bins and restock supplies used throughout the building.
  • Work carefully in a professional building environment with discretion and attention to detail.
  • Maintain presentation standards that reflect a credible, calm and well-kept business centre.

Shift times

  • Monday, Wednesday and Friday: 4hrs
  • Tuesday and Thursday: 3hrs
  • Approx. 18 hours per week

This role may suit someone who is

  • Reliable and able to work independently
  • Flexible and practical in approach
  • Comfortable being on your feet for 3–4 hour shifts
  • Previous commercial cleaning experience is helpful but not essential
  • References required
